Dr Simpson and Pauline Mcneil MSP supporting Or Ben-David, an Israeli who refused to join the army. Dr Simpson who is a member of the Cross Party Group on Palestine continues to call for free access to Gaza for all materials to rebuild the Israeli inflicted  war damage as part of lifting the blockade on Gaza.Dr Simpson previously collected medicines from Doctors in Forth Valley to send with an aid convoy to Gaza The CPG also heard about on going aid efforts from NGOs. Dr Simpson continues to support calls to lift the blockade on Gaza and for the HAMAS government to prevent missile attacks on Israel from Gaza

Fossoway Community

Fossoway_Community_CouncilRichard is backing the Fossoway folk in their campaign for increased safety over the subsequent increase in traffic along the A977 between Kinross and Kincardine since the opening of the Clackmannanshire Bridge. Speaking at the Petitions Committee at the Scottish Parliament, Richard said, “I am standing firmly behind the Community Council and Cllr Barnacle’s call for mitigation measures to be fully funded not only to improve safety on the road but to encourage HGVs to use the M9 and M90 instead.”

 

 

   

Think Pink

Richard swapped his more usual sober attire in support of the Breast Cancer CAMPAIGN’s Wear it Pink® fundraising initiative. He commented, “We are all affected in one way or another by cancer and I am happy to do what I can help raise awareness of this campaign!”
